Half-Quantum Vortices in an Exciton-Polariton Condensate

Welcome to the School of Basic Sciences

Our school is responsible for teaching chemistry, mathematics and physics and other domains of basic science for all the EPFL schools.
The School of Basic Sciences develops a strategy of research and dissemination with the top-priority objective of producing fundamental knowledge in chemistry, mathematics, physics and other domains of basic science. It is also responsible for the long-term applications of its research.
The school encourages interdisciplinary research.
